FOR COMPANIES

Digitisation for mid-sized companies and enterprise.

autonom works with companies of ten to five thousand employees across Europe. We analyse what is worth digitising, set up ready-made solutions or build custom software — with Ai where it measurably helps, and EU Ai Act compliance in scope from day one.

01 · Mittelstand

Mittelstand: results first, tool-agnostic.

Mittelstand companies have less time for exploratory pilots than large enterprises — and less appetite for consultants who deliver a slide deck and disappear. Our engagement always ends with either a written recommendation you can hand to another vendor, or a working system you can operate yourself.

Typical entry point: the feasibility analysis. Sixty minutes online, a questionnaire beforehand, a written report within a week — with cost range and expected savings per measure. It is credited against implementation if you continue.

  • Ready-made solutions where they fit — custom software where they don't.
  • Working systems, not slide decks.
  • Tools chosen per project on fit and data residency — not vendor lock-in.
  • EU Ai Act traffic light as part of every analysis — not an upsell.
02 · Enterprise

Enterprise divisions: pilots that survive procurement.

Inside a large organisation, most digitisation and Ai pilots stall between prototype and production. Reasons: unclear KPIs, missing compliance ownership, or a tool choice that IT security cannot approve. We enter as an independent partner for a single business unit and deliver artefacts your central IT, procurement and data-protection functions can actually approve.

Typical scope: one department, one process, one measurable KPI. Six-week pilot, full documentation, hand-over to internal teams. If you want us to stay, we continue with ongoing advisory — cancellable monthly.

FAQ

Answers before you write us.

  • Which company sizes benefit from working with you?

From about ten employees on, a structured analysis starts to pay off. Our typical space is classical Mittelstand (20–200 employees) up to enterprise divisions with a dedicated pilot budget. Above 5000 employees we work only on single business units, not the group level.

  • What happens in the first step?

The feasibility analysis: 60 minutes online with a questionnaire beforehand, then a written report within a week — covering feasibility, cost range, expected savings and an Ai Act traffic light. On a follow-up engagement it is credited against implementation.

  • What do you implement?

Our ready-made solutions — Ai Assistant, Quote Assistant and Knowledge Base — plus custom software: bespoke applications, automations, dashboards and internal tools. Tools are chosen per project on fit and data residency — not on vendor lock-in.

  • How fast do we see productive results?

For a first project typically four to eight weeks, ready-made solutions often faster. Afterwards you decide whether we hand over, extend, or support you on an ongoing basis.

  • How is EU Ai Act compliance handled?

The Ai Act traffic light is part of every assessment — never a separate upsell. We classify every Ai application by risk category and document the necessary measures (training, transparency, technical documentation, register).

  • What if we already use ChatGPT or Copilot?

All the better. We review the existing use, close open compliance gaps (Ai Act, GDPR) and identify the three to five processes where the next real leap is possible.
